What in God’s name is Berloumi? Well, Berloumi is our Belgium Made halloumi produced in Berlare. It's really as simple as that. Berloumi has a unique taste. The taste is not comparable to other cheeses. Fried or grilled the cheese has a hearty, warm and rich flavour. But it’s the texture that makes the cheese exceptional. Halloumi style cheese does not melt like other cheeses and has a rather elastic, meaty and squeaky mouthfeel. A taste sensation that is quickly appreciated!
