Not just a restaurant. A movement.
A Middle Eastern-inspired, plant-based restaurant in Brussels,
on a mission to make food radically better - for nature, for people, for the future.
We want to revolutionize and inspire the fast & casual dining industry by offering an honest, healthy and climate-positive alternative.
Our values guide everything we do.
We call them our 3 S's just like trees:
rooted in purpose, growing with us, and giving back to our guests.
🌿 Simplicity – Less noise, more meaning
♻️ Sustainability – From compost to community
❤️ Spirit – Hospitality with soul
Eat Pois Chiche and help us with our mission.
We don’t do this alone.
Pois Chiche is built on collaboration.
We work with farmers, makers and suppliers who share our love for terroir, taste and good food, with as few food miles as possible.
Some of them are fully mission-driven, others simply damn good at what they do.
Either way, we’re moving towards one goal: 100% local ingredients.

Who's behind this?
Born in Brussels, raised between hummus bowls and hospitality chaos.
I'm Yezen, pronounced with an a. Half cook, half rebel - with Middle Eastern roots and a soft spot for food that actually means something.
I started Pois Chiche because there was (almost) no good falafel in town. Simple as that. I didn’t overthink it. I just did it. (A glimpse of the beginning..)
Pois Chiche isn’t fancy. No suits. No waiters. Just food that makes sense. We don’t say vegan or veggie. You don’t call fries vegetarian either, right?
The place runs on trust, intuition, and a whole lot of trial and error.
I’ve messed up, learned, built, and rebuilt. Still the same guy - just a little sharper now.
And this is just the beginning. I’m building something bigger - a growing movement that proves hospitality can be mission-driven, sustainable, and damn delicious.
Pois Chiche is step one. More is coming.
